TURBO badge

I personally think it looks hot. I read earlier that you have to be careful lining up the badge to cover the holes. Do think this would leak? What was the part number for this badge?
Good point

I like how it looks, however, I't would be better if the "MazdaSpeed" badge was on the left and the "Turbo" badge was on the right, thus it would read MazdaSpeed Turbo instead of Turbo MazdaSpeed. Anyway, that's just nitpicking, I still think it looks cool. How big are the holes on trunk for the original Protege badge? I was thinking about just taking off the badge and leaving it off, I'd rather it just said MazdaSpeed on the back. Thanks for letting me know about the holes, I'd have been pretty pissed if I took the badge off and saw I had two holes to deal with.

Unfortunately the holes are pretty noticeable - I painted my Protege emblem and front emblem black...looks a lot better on my black MSP than before - funny, I also have a Turbo badge from when I had my '00 GTI - it's actually a black Porsche 'turbo' badge, so it looks a little different than the newer silver VW 'turbo' badge...I may put mine on, who knows...for now it looks fine..

I say do what you like, but the badges look great imo.

I just think the silver rear Protege emblem looked bad. The only real nit-pick I had about the car. Ah well, who cares....

The reason y porsches have it is cuz the car is called the turbo... u know 911 turbo or 996 turbo.... Even vw is the VW bug turbo... Turbo is part of their name.
our car is call the mazdaspeed protege... notice how the name does not have the work turbo in it. thus taking off the protege and puttin on a turbo badge makes it sound like u wish u had a 996 turbo or worse a vw bug turbo... At which point i would question ur sexual preferenece....

I should not prejudge people... However, most poeple that sees that turbo sticker will hopefull think of 911/996 and not Beetle.... but u never know...

*I hope u get picked up by a gay guy for putting that on ur car... just to show you how gay it looks to have a wannabe car*

Dr. Sound... At least u get credit for being original....

Yeah, according to my badges I drive a Protege MazdaSpeed...whatever dude.

That's exactly why I switched my emblems...Now it says Mazdaspeed Protege. They always looked backwards to me the way they came stock.

Saying you can't put that turbo badge on means that no one with an MP3, P5, or regular protege sedan could use a Mazdaspeed badge. And I know there are quite a few people on here with them, or stickers that say Mazdaspeed. Just like Vic said. It doesn't mean you want your car to be something else. It's just a badge showing off the fact that you have a turbo. I kind of like it, but If I did it, I have a better idea in mind;)

do people on here think mazdaspeed is just a car or what? i don't get it...its a company that sells parts from what ive come to know...

Do people here think that a turbo badge is only meant for a car that came stock with that badge? I don't get it...It's a badge saying your car car is turbo'd. Why is it so wrong for someone to want to add one to a MSP, or even a turbo'd MP3/P5?

And just so you know, my Mazdaspeed badge example was to show how lame the argument was about putting turbo badges on turbo'd cars that didn't come from the factory with one.

i could care less who puts what on their car(but i see the point somewhat), especially a turbo badge.

Don't worry...We fight about EVERYTHING on here:) There will always be someone that disagrees, and it's all downhill from there.

Does anyone know of any companies that sell 2.0T badges(Volvo maybe)? I've always liked the VW's, but they are all 1.8T badges.

Lets try this again

Since no one listened the first time .... haha ... here is the badge that i think you are looking for ... its off the Porche boxster or the Audi TT... Same one.

LINK (blah)

The new Saab 9-3 has a 2.0t or 2.0T badge (upper or lowercase 'T' depending on trim level - the Linear has 2.0t, the Arc and Vector have 2.0T)

If you had a 1.8T jetta would u take off the 1.8t sticker and put a turbo badge on it??? cuz they have a turbo too...

or how about if someone put a integera type r engine into a integera gsr would u slap the type r sticker on the side??

or how about a prism/vibe... Would u say u had a toyota??? Mostly same car as their toyota couterpart.

Would u stick a MX-6 sticker on a probe along with the Mazda badge???

Come on dude, it's a badge...and it's not even your car. If somebody wants to put a turbo badge on their car then let them do it.

And the English language reads left to right, this has nothing to do with Arabic...we're in America not the Middle East.
