Tuning philosophy

I just want my car to be badass dependable, great looking and always clean, but I do wanna see a suprised look on peoples faces when I pop the hood. clean ass engine, with clean ass mods, nothing too big. Cant afford a turbo, but thats cool lol the CAI makes a cool sound. I love the great milage and the car always gets compliments, usually from girls to be honest, had some friends at work tell me they hate wagons but really like mine. That puts a smile on my face. I just want a second look car. you know they glance at it..look at their friends and say." WTF was that?! that was cool"

you know what i noticed last night? that in the drivers side passenger door...on the inside the door panel by the window near the back...it must be loose cause it makes a noise and i can push it a bit and makes ike a creaky noise and it sucks...it made me sad and realized its a "old" car

I have that same problem in my P5 as well pr05maniac. Basically im in mick's situation about being in college makes everything slow... But will soon have some type of suspension setup. Either coilovers or the struts still can make my mind up.
I am looking for a car with a little pick up, and that yes does get good gas mileage, but most importantly will be reliable. I will do things with in reason without compromising the overall integrity of the car, as long as it is in my price ranger too...

did you buy it used? that little window is the perfect window spot to gain entry into the vehical. maybe somebody locked their keys inside...

i got the car new...im thinking that the vibration from the manual front motor mount caused it to come loose since no one really uses the door. i only do when putting my school bags in and out of the car really.

Sorry, read the wrong, thought you said the glass was loose.
if hte panel is loose, it could be that the previous owner had as system in the car and had to take it apart. imo.
That rattle could be solved with a little sound deadening (thumb)

Simple... Sleek; nothing major... Coilovers or Springs, 18" Rims...did my tints already, small audio upgrades (w/in budget)...maybe front lip a touch up on the bumpers/JDM back lights (if I can find them) and FAMILIA emblems ... and we'll call a day.

Hey everyone i am new here seems like a good place to be if you own a mp5.
I want to keep mine clen and simple. somethign that looks good still a daily driver, but if i need to gt on it i will be able to.

im lookin at a AEM SRI, megan exhaust (either custom axel-back, or full cat-back im leanin more towards axel-back cuz money is tight for me), 8" bazooka tube sub, new HU (no idea what to get yet...but thatll be awhile), 20% tint all around, red underglow kit (maybe red neons under the dash but im not sure) and possibly JDM black headlights..theres a few other things, but i cant think of them right now. mostly i wanna keep my p5 clean, but enhance the sporty part of it
