TSUDO HEADERS, value or junk!!!

i got the gasket from dealer.. id have to say im not very impressed with the header. the outside welds look good ,but how the outside looks has nothing to do with the performance.. its pretty obviouse when the car is idling and if you give it a little gas you can tell that that the crappy job on the inside is not allowing the exhaust to flow smoothly thus kinda defeats the purpose of the headers.. id have to say get obx. clean wields outside and inside.... this just an example of how this tsudo header look on the inside http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/i/105334098949_3300.jpg?ext=.jpg&border=2,255,255,255,1,0,0,0,0&outquality=90

it looks exactly like the OBX in the pics.


btw, anyone whom installs a header, do yourself a favor and wipe it with alcohol or some sort of cleaner that will remove fingerprints otherwise they will be burned into the header and look like crap.

man if thats the case looks like ill just spend the extra bucks and get some to tig weld it for me and smooth it out on the inside

I completly disagree, I think the car runs way better, pulls harder and revs faster. What kind of exhaust do you have?

it works ok but its not as good as it could be. there a little better performance but you can hear it burping not a poping noise but kinda of a light burp everyonce in a while my gues is the exhaust enters the head and the ridges cuase turbalance and thus not allowing it to flow smoothly. im not saying that its not giving more power matbe i should have been more clear but i do have to say its could be better if it was smoother . i have a tannabe exhaust

its not a back fire its not comming from the exhaust. it wasnt there b4 the header install so im guessing its turbalance from the header and its just making idle wierd. and also i didnt get a check engine light like eevryone said.. maybe im lucky?

The CEL will come....did you reset your ECU? You should always do that after changing anything.

i did reset ecu still nothing, disconnected -term hit the brake ccouple times reconnected and nothing. today i tried with key out and in and turned all 3 was same result. no check engine... i used some carbon cleaner b4 put the senser back could that have effeceted the senser?

No, I doubt it. My comment and question were unrelated; I was just curious if you reset the ECU.
You'll get the CEL eventually. Sometimes it takes 75-100 miles.
Mine came on in less than ten...

i think your run's fucky because ecu don't see your precat ... i think if you do the non fouler trick it will run much better !
