time attack style u mean? it'd be kool but some people say they're tired of their time attack wheels already

no not a pinstripe... a full lip of true red too match the car.. i know alot of people have the pinstripe and thats one reason that i dnt want "just a pinstripe".. i want a good full lip too match the paint.. plus i think a nice gloss black center and a true red lip would look pretty cool on those rims.. just my 2 cents, but id like too know more opinions b4 i go about this project with my soon to be rims.

personaly i don't like rims with lips just due to the fact that it takes away from the size of the rim. 18's look like 16's. but to each his own. Haven't seen any color match rims that looked even halfway right since the 3rd gen camaros.

i know wat ur saying about the rims looking smaller, right now i have some 18's with no lip and everyone always thinks they are bigger... but the offset on the mazdaspeed 3 ranges from 45-52 so theres not gonna be that big of a lip anyways.. and if they look like 17's thats fine.. but if i get the lip painted red, im going too send them my paint code and they are going to try and get it as close as possible

those look like the old WORK wheels my buddy had on his MR2. Pretty sexy I must say

I had the royal black D2s on my prelude. From what I've heard, even with 18's, there are brake clearance issues on the D2 with the MS3/MS6. Something to look into...

They wont fit the MS3 which is why its not in the mazda3 section at wheeldude.com

I asked about the wheel and he said it does not clear the calipers. Sorry to burst ur bubble, but there is a reason why no one else on here has them...ill admit i liked them also.

good luck

before you mod a wheel be sure to add in the cost. you might decide to look at a more expensive wheels just the idea of a cheap bastard.

do whatever you feel like you should. Who cares if others think that time attack is played out, its ultimately your decision, not theirs. There will always be a nayser somewhere.
