nope. don't look like it to me. had three 3rd gens including an mp3. looks just like that. unless all 3 of mine happen to be missing that trunk piece lol

Coulda swore I seen an mp3 trunk for sale on ebay that had a panel there, unless it was something custom that looked stock....

Yours looks like it had something mounted there at one time but it wouldn't have come from the factory. None of the proteges have a stock cover on the inside of the deck lid.
