trip to the dealer

Took my car in to the dealership cause I couldnt take the crunch in the front end any longer. I also told them to check the turbo because the high pitch scream everyone talks about has gotten louder. They looked my car over and decided to give me a brand new turbo and front bushings. I sure hope the new turbo puts out more boost than the previous one. Has anyone here thats had there turbo replaced experienced more or less boost with the new turbo?

It all depends on how much the tech. likes you. There is one "stock" MSP running around me that has around 8.5psi.....hehe

The tech happens to be a friend of mine. Is there a way he can turn up the boost cause if there is ill sure as hell ask him to

I got a new turbo and it boosts at 5 psi. There has also been a high pitched whistle that they claim they can't verify. I'm going to take a tech for a ride when I take it in to have the new stereo head unit put in (that broke, too).

How come so many people have gotten new turbos? Mine does the whine, but is that justice for a new turbo??? Just curious...My car is going to the dealer Wednesday, I can talk to them if it is! (hear ya)

Mine is also getting louder and has developed two small oil leaks. The dealer told me that it still drives fine and I should wait until it's broken before getting it warrantied.........

This is such bull s*** im still waitin on my new turbo. Ive lost count on how long its been. Millenium mazda claims its on back order Im starting to wonder if there just waiting for me to give up so they wont have to warranty it. Has anyone else had probs like this? :mad:

So noone answered, is that whine noise normal or what? I have no oil leaks but my whines like an S.O.B. going to dealer on monday for more warranty work so let me know.
