Well, the end of an area has arrived. The Tri-Point Mazda6 touring cars that helped Mazda win the 2007 Speed World Challenge Manufacturer's Championship is up for sale after this season. My sources hint that the Mazda3 will be the Mazda touring car next season.

IMHO It's too big and too heavy to be competitive in touring car.

Recall that Mazda used to race Proteges for TC before the 6.

I recall and have posters in my garage. Sad to see the 6s go, but was very happy to see them in person.
