Transmission Mount

I was just wondering if anyone had a walkthrough or anything on how to swap out the transmission mount. I'm sure I can figure it out myself, but at the same time, I'd rather see it done before I do it. Thanks for all the help in advance. (Hopefully this will get answered soon so I can install it today.)

hit up 'therealdefman' i just helped him change his tranny mount and the rear mount and he had some print offs for it....but it's easy.....took like 2 hours to do both mounts and pull the bat tray crap out

yeah I have the feeling that the worst part is simply dicking w/ the battery tray and what not. I'm still not 100% sure how to pull it out. I know I remove the battery and what not, but I always seem to be missing one bolt. O well, I'll figure it out.

Well, sort of... I printed a post I found on one of the forums (I forget which one) about how to check your factory trans mount, which covers most of the process. I'll keep looking for it, the search function on some of these boards are awful!

EDIT - found it... http://www.mazda*3*forums.*com/index.php?topic=81245.0

Things to add:
*The battery tray plate sits on top of the trans mount and uses the same nuts.
*There is a weight on the back between the battery tray and the trans mount, it may fall out.
*In the post above, SUPPORT THE TRANS, it *will* move!!
*Post says to tighten to 75#, later in the post it says 95-114#. s***, looks like I may have to go tighten it more!

Like bgibb68 said, all in all it was pretty easy.

I have some pictures, but nothing like what was posted. The install is easy. I have installed a TRZ and a Medieval transmission mount. Just make sure to put a jack under it before taking the bolts off.
