Tranny Fluid

I'm due for a tranny flush, I was wondering what kind of fluid I should get? I don't want the factory OEM fluid, I would much rather get something that is better and longer lasting. I don't mind spending the extra cash, so any help here is appreciated.

BTW I have the 2006 2.0 Mazda 3 Auto Transmission

Thanks

I have heard that Amsoil and Redline make good synthetic ATF Fluids. Make sure that what ever you do buy meets the ATF-MV spec that mazda requires. Well atleast that is what is required for my 2.3l with the automatic transmission. Be sure to check your manual to verify which spec yours requires. Also don't treat synthetic ATF fluid like synthetic oil, you are not supposed to run it any longer than regular ATF fluid. They are two different beasts all together. The transmission take alot more abuse than the engine, and so inherently the fluid does to. Try searching the forum for other posts about transmission fluid.
