Tranny Fluid.

It's time to get some new tranny fluid for the p5 and I was wondering which one is the correct one to get? I checked in the owner's manual but there was nothing about tranny fluid.

It is in there, at least in mine. I just checked today because I am about to do the same thing I picked up some Royal Purple for $8 a quart at NAPA.

GL-4 or GL-5
SAE 75W-90
2.9 quarts

I am using gm syncromesh in mine. It made a big difference.

royal purple here. I might switch to amsoil next change but I really like RP

How often are you supposed to do this? Change fluid, that is.

I did it at 30k and shall do it every 30k. that is more than recommended but I like keepin things runnin smooth.
