I already have the rack (it is a fork mount design). A trunk mount rack would work well, but Carbon Fiber bikes should NOT be transported that way.

Yeah getting a hitch installed for that type of bike mount is no biggie.

Unfortunately I know nothing about car mounts either, the only mounts I know are for trucks, and I don't think those big heavy tow mounts I know, would work well on a car.

Which brand & model number hitch is this? I would like to have a receiver hitch for a bike rack but all of the hitches say not for the speed6 because of clearance with the rear bumper cover.

I don't have a MS6 so I don't have the clearance issue that you may have.. sorry.
