Trading in my MSP

I have decided to trade in my MSP for a 09 MS3.

To make a long story short I headed to my local speed dealer last wednesday to pick up my millenia s pcv valve that came in, on the way to the parts counter i was greeted by a salesman who was aksing me questions about my my car. I noticed in the showroom they had a 2010 MS3 on display then I started asking questions, when push came to shove I asked how much I would get for my MSP if i traded it in for a MS3. To my surprise the used car manager did an apraisel and came back with $9,000. In shock i immediatly started asking more questions on buying the MS3. After we crunched some numbers i decided to jump on the offer. Mazda is offereing $1,500 customer cash on all new 09 MS3's, so my trade was bumped up to 10,500$. On top of all that i got a price of $22,110 for a just delivered 0 mlies 09 MS3 GT. Im also puting $3,500 down so out the door i end up only owing a little over $9,500 on the car, then financed for 3 years at 2.9% puts me at $278 a month, which in my opinion is a stellar deal, especially due to the fact i only paid $5,300 for my msp a month ago. I officially pick up my new MS3 on wednesday and i cant wait.

DUDE, I'm definitely gonna have to see if I can get a trade appraisal like that on my car.. then switch over to a used RX-8 to trade to and walk out owing like... 3K.

It only has 46k on it, The only mod i did was the dave b rings which i think i bought from you, lol. The front mount, exhaust, emanage etc.. was all on the car already when i bought it. The used car manager that did the apraisel didnt say one word to me about the mods, so im guessing either he didnt know s*** about the car or he just didnt care.

I wouldnt trade my msp in for a ms3. I would only say yes to an evo. Ms3 is another FF with just more ponies. I dont see the benefits in it. GL with ur ms3 bro.

Lotsa folks get taken once they get you in the finance officers cubicle, but appears you slew the lion in its den! damn excellent job on the financing deal.

you possibly could man, i told you to go to russ darrow, they gave me a verbal offer (without even seeing my car) of $8000 and said it would go up from there after they saw it. try it out, they love selling the speed protege's at auction haha.
