I found many threads talking about different tires sizes and which ones would best fit the Protege5. Recently a friend of mine got a new car and he gave me his previous set of 9 spoke Enkei 18 wheels with 225/40/18 tires on it. I must say...the car looks amazing. However, as most of you know, they are a little big and when anyone is in the back seat or if I hit a bump, they tend to rub. My question is if I can keep the same rims but switch the tire size to 215/35/18 instead?
I was going to rent a "Fender Roller" and add a anti roll bar underneath to help alleviate the rubbing but if switching tire sizes will solve the problem then I will do that first
( I just didn't know how many sizes of 18's you could "fit" on 18's)
