traction control

because the 3 is a prewired master piece, i was jw, is it possiable to add oem trac control to one that didnt come with it originally?

my car blows in the snow

i kinda think that tires are gonna be my best bet

Get four snow tires (not two under any circumstances) and you will be amazed. Amazed as you round confidently around snowy curves while people in the Chevy Tahoes and Subaru Outbacks slide off the road.

i plan on buying some snow tires but i figured if i could easily add TC then i would do that too

if the conditions are too bad ill pull out my other vehicle

And what's wrong with it?
I'm not much of a truck guy myself, but obviously a lot of thought, time, effort and money went into that Chevy.
I'd say it looks good and could hold it's own on a 4WD off-road club outing.

i think it looks good....but why put a snorkel on it??where you live to be able to go fording??

best word to describe you other vehicle is w*nk mobile. I dispise those 4x4s

I agree but for a different reason...

Actually, no, I'd disagree.
Any vehicle that is reasonably-well built for off-roading is, by default, worse for street driving and especially in the snow.
And I'm not seeing any mods that are really all that pricy - all bolt-ons - body lifts are cool for fitting in bigger tires, but cheap and easy and offer nothing for actual performance.
It just depends what you want to do with the truck, really do hardcore offroad runs or just look "cool" and do mild trails.

I'm kind of wondering the same thing - I totally get the need for a snorkel, have nearly drowned mine, but unless you have differential lockers, you're going to be stuck long before it will make a difference.
But - if you have diff lockers, then this would be a TERRIBLE vehicle to drive in the snow...
At least the road traction on the street tires won't be too bad, get some real MTs or LTBs and you can forget it.

the truck has auto locker in the rear and a ratchet locker in the front. it does have a body lift but also 5" of suspension. the snorkel is there because i hydrolocked my original engine. had to replace the engine, tranny, and all fluids because of it. in that picture it is really clean, but up close there is a ton of body damage from the trails. it does appear to be normal bolt ons, i wanted it to look somewhat stock, however, its now where close. the tires that are on it are for street driving, but i have tsl's for off roading.

p.s. there is over $15,000 invested in off road type upgrades, stuff you cant see. still has stock stero system, it is not a show truck at all

15K in MODS!!! That's ONLY a little less than I paid for my whole CAR!!!
Well, I can see why some would think it to be a poser if you will, but it is a tough looking truck just the same.
The snorkel on the other hand may, or may not be overkill, but if it offers you peace of mind, I say go for it!!

i live in maine and wouldn't go a winter without them on a non awd/4wd vehicle and even then they still do wonders. my lil 3 is a tank in the snow with snow tires on. no need fot t/c
