Went to the track today and ran my car. Boost was at 9.5 and the only other mod is my CAI. 14.69 @96.2 Temp was 83 degrees.

My 60FT time sucks, i need to work on my launches and I could drop a few 10ths. I was racing a silver BMW. I also ran a VW GTI when I was only boosting 8PSI and I ran a 14.98, he ran a 15.45.

i wanna take my car out to the track one day. .but i think they just closed down test and tune and stuff for the season. ..winter.. . eh

Nice man...your 60ft are not that bad IMO...2.4 60footers seem to be the norm for higher ouput, stock suspension FWD car...

Also what kind of BMW was it...with a 15.2 I am assuming a 328 or a bad driver with a 330?...You beat his 60 foot time, and he is RWD...so again, with your current setup I would say it was fine...

It was a big silver V8 beemer, thats all I know. I know that when I dropped my air pressure to 30 PSI it made all the difference. Hardly any wheel hop at all

540i auto maybe, or big 740i...either way still rear wheel drive...

I think it was a 96 5series Auto, I know it was a V8 cause he told me after I ran him. But it was way bigger than a 3 series

I was told i got the flash by Capitol of Cary, but it doesnt run any different at all, I kinda think they just told be they did it to try to make me stop asking. Plus there is no sticker in my engine bay....

Yeah I definitely could feel a difference, but there's no sticker. My invoice says they billed Mazda $60 for flashing the computer to new program.

you can definately pull a 2.2 60' with practice and stock tires at 25-30psi. motor mounts would help alot. drag radials would throw you down to 2.0 prob.

good times :)

Great times, I'm hoping to be mid 14's when the track opens next year, shouldn't take too much work, but I just want reviersable things so I can keep my warranty.

You can test if you're flashed by leaving it in neutral and just barely put your foot on the gas, slowly rev till you get to around 2000rpm and if you are flashed the advanced timing will kick in and rev to about 2700-3000 with your foot in the same spot.

Ya learn something new everyday. sup turboge, how's the tuning going? i think in february I should have access to a dyno anytime of the day I want. maybe you can give me some tips on how to learn to tune or whatnot. i want to learn dammit.

It's going quite well, i'm running 8psi right now with full timing maps activated and fuel just about set how it shuld be. Let me know when you get that dyno, I'll exchange some tuning tips for dyno time ;)
