Track Daze

I have never run with them before, I run NASA events as they have a great ladder program, from HPDE1-4, Time Trials to wheel to wheel racing. They're having an event at VIR on February 19-21.

There will be a number of pro drivers at this event, Tom Long of Freedom Autosports, Eric Meyer of Meyer Motorsports, are just a couple of Mazda drivers that will be in attendance.

In addition, NASA has what they call Hyperdrive, where you get a 1/2 hour of track time with an instructor and 1/2 hour of classroom instruction. This program is for those who just to see what the experience is like and to see if this is something that they may be interested in running full events in the future. They also have parade laps, where you can drive on the track during lunch time, that is free. Check them out http://www.nasaproracing.com/

Yea I was thinking of NASA as well but it looks like Track Daze is more laid back and no member fees. I am a novice, the only experience I have is i went to Skip Barber school about 4 years a go.

NASA is laid back as well, the instructors for the most part start off in HPDe and have worked their way through the system in order to become an instructor.

The membership fees is a stumbling block for some, but you can it back by simply referring someone. new HPDE drivers will receive a FREE membership and save $45!

Again, NASA isn't for everyone, but if you are looking to eventually go into wheel to wheel racing, it is just one way to go.
