tp bolts

so i know this has been discussed a thousand times, so before someone tells me to search, know that ive read all the threads i found about test pipes.

ill be putting mine on on saturday hopefully, i got the su one and i will be buyin a new rear gasket instead of reusing the old one, and i also want to be new bolts, but i dont know what size to get and from the threads ive read it seems like people have been using different sizes. whats the best size to use?

I just did mine today and it was a nightmare. Not that it was a hard install but for the fact that I came down with flu like symtoms after getting the stock cat off... What should have been a 1-2 hour job in the driveway turned into a 6 hour ordeal... Dont count on reusing the stock bolts. Best bet is to get some from home depots nuts/bolts bin. You will reuse the doughnut gasket and the springs on the front of the cat bolts... Also a stock gasket will not work on the rear mounting do what I did n take the test pipe to your local Midas and get a repl gasket there. It will cost all of $5 for one.
Over all if your not dying sick its a fairly easy install...
Impressions are favorable not loud as a matter of fact if I didnt know it was replaced I wouldnt be able to tell it was there...
Anyone have dyno numbers on a stock car with the SU test pipe installed??
