B balefire Member Oct 5, 2008 #1 New owner here of a 2008 cx9 AWD with the tow pkg. Just wondering if its possible to tow my rx8 (~competition weight 2900 lbs) + lightweight trailer (~1000 lbs) for short (2-3 h distances). Anyone try towing past the 3500 lb capacity? Thanks!

C CX9 SportOwner Member Oct 5, 2008 #2 I'd say ok, as long as you're on flat roads. Hills are a different story, as is high speed.
