Totaled RX-7 value????

I know someone that totaled his 1993 RX-7. It's got 56k miles and has a manual trans. I haven't seen it yet but I guess all of the body panels are junk. Motor and trans were untouched. Does anyone have any idea what this thing would be worth?

5 or 6 grand. Depends on the apex seals.

so its a rolling running chasis in otherwords? thats a tough one. that price could be right in the proper market. a smart person would say screw the engine and put a reman in just to play it safe

Thanks for the input. The guy took great care of this car. He knows RX-7's so I know he did the routine lubing of the apex seals while it was in storage. He's going to buy it back from the insurance company if the price is right.

Well depending on the condidition of the apex seals (as someone mentioned) and interior condition you could part it for $4k guaranteed and up to $6 or $7k


big parting areas depending on condition and discoloration... you can sell everything from the defrost vents to the trunk cover to the ash tray and down to the floormats.
