I don't know where you're getting your torrents, but the eps I get are better quality than what I can get on DirectTV (aka ARTIFACT ARTIFACT LOL).

either way, my computer monitor is much smaller than my tv and i most definitely don't have surround sound on my computer...

I have a computer hooked up to my TV and home theater just for this purpose.

ok well i rather watch stacy do some custome work and watching the dudes from horsepower tv do custom work. they even give you quick howtos on doing custom work. i mean really i couldnt care less if the evo might win in a bobsled race. or if one of those small cars beats a pigeon. gay. i really dont care how some cars, i will never see, perform. top gear always bored the crap out of me.

That's the difference between you and I.

I enjoy cars, all of them. Watching the new TVR and hit's ill-fitting hood and no ABS slide around the track was pure awesome. Watching some red-neck put on brake lines?

UGH.

Ok, make fun of rednecks with mullets all you like. But you have to admit that Stacy is a total BADASS when it comes to custom work.

he's entertaining to watch

damn its my fav show....im never home to watch it but my tivo records it.

Damn that explains why my PVR computer didn't record it this week. I'm so sad, it was the only quality automobile programming on television. :( Damn the discovery channel for operating like any private corporation would, all about the profits :(

Is the History Channel the only decent channel on television?

You clowns just don't understand Top Gear because it's not all flashy lights and techo music. Really, that's ok cause the US edited version sucked and I download the BBC originals anyway.

Top Gear is a show for true car fans. They don't do tips or how-tos or any of that crap. They take cars out, film them beautifully, and speak the truth about their performance.

Amen to that...and Fith Gear is like watching paint dry. The only downside to Top Gear is the occasional "low blow" comments made about "The Colonies".

lol

Top Gear rocks I cant believe they ditched it :(

It's so beautiful how they film the cars :(

They always manage to bring out the best shots for every car they feature, I should really go get the torrents right now.

Yeah it sucks they left battlestar hanging like that. That show ******* rocks.

indeed it does. im gonna buy season one, which has the mini-series. ive been watching the original series lately as well, which isnt bad either

i love battlestar... i started watching the mini series and then continued to watch the entre first season in less than 2 days. unfortunately, that was after the 2nd season was over, so i'm waiting for the 2nd season to come out on dvd... such an awesome show...

Top Gear Isnt Canceled

i got pissed when i read thisso i wrote them a long letter and i got thisback:

The "Top Gear" show was not "taken off the air" but rather ran its pattern.
It is being revamped for a U.S. audience and will return later this year.
Look for it in December.

Can't wait till December

I loved that test between the SLK and the Boxster trying to evade the snipers. TOP GEAR is a great show and I'll just stick with downloading the originals. Both shows have their plusses and minuses.

I got this reply...

We appreciate your correspondence and for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns with us. Jeremy Clarksons comments on September 10 in the UK paper, The Sun, do not represent the views of Discovery Channel, nor does he speak on behalf of Discovery Communications Inc. The comments that Mr. Clarkson made were both inaccurate and offensive. Mr.
Clarkson has been informed of our company's extreme displeasure with his statements. We currently do not have any plans to work with Mr. Clarkson.

He replied "I am very sorry if I have upset people in my column in ' The Sun' on September 10. Like many people in Britain, I was horrified by the scale of disaster and the loss of life in New Orleans. While I have criticized the way it was handled, it was never my intention to offend ordinary American citizens."
