The show is still on BBC and if you have satelite, you can get it. I had watched Top Gear since it's inception. "5th Gear" with tiff needell is a far superior show. Jeremey clarkson is a douchebag.

I liked Tiff in Top Gear, but 5th Gear is a lot more boring than Top Gear with Jeremy.
SpicyMchaggis said:no way, tiff is the man. jeremy is an unskilled moron who has literally zero to contribute to society.
PhreakV said:I will say though that I will be purchasing an Ariel Atom 300 SC that they featured on the show. hopefully Summer 2008 (out of school), shipping > me though

tiff & clarkson used to be in the original topgear series before it got cancelled. tiff brought the show to channel 5 hence the name change to 5th gear. 5th gear in many ways still runs like the original top gear show which made it popular in the 90s. in 2002 clarkson reintroduced top gear with dramatic changes and producers with a penchant for auto-mayhem-and-buggery & a new element called The Stig, a pro driver who's job is to bring the cars to their knees on their test track. unfortunately discovery thought it necessary to edit the segments and refilm the studio audience so that none of the cars/car manufacturers available in the US were presented in a negative way. it lost its bite & purpose for being. clarkson's misbehaving was found on the editing floor, same with hammond's and may's disdain for the cars they reviewed. i still watched it, for nostalgia purposes, and because i'd hope that with high ratings they would bring an "uncut" version to the US. now i'm kinda glad its gone. i almost forgot how much better, grander, faster, nastier, and very unfriendly the UK version was...almost.
