to paint or not to paint? my CF hood

Well I've been using Meguiar's shampoo and liquid wax and instant detailer, But to be perfectly honest that picture was taken the day after it was cut and polished and then detailed the morning of the car show.

OH BTW whether you paint your CF hood or not, I would HIGHLY recommend atleast getting it clear coated with several layers of clear for two reasons, they can add UV protectants to the clear (which will help keep the CF looking pretty) and also will give the CF a deeper finish. Mine has about 5 coats of clear and one of the coats has a slight tint added in which helps bring the look of the weave out more.

hey Reffoxel, how do you get your car to be so shiny? It looks like you never drove it and looks like you wax and polish the s*** out of it. What products do you use?

I have a clearcoat on it now with the stock MSP pearl in it, not sure how many layers he did though....

I too have been wondering what the best method is for cleaning and polishing my car. I wanna do some real extensive really kick ass job to it in the next few weeks for the spring...

I'd say leave it black. You need to break up all of that orange. Get some CF trim and some black/gunmetal rims and you're set.

Paint it but leave a 1" strip at the top running along the bottom of your windshield.

Seen it, looks great, not Ghetto!!
hmm what does this look like?
