tires

just wanting your input or opinions on these tires I am considering.
Kuhmo Ecsta SPT
Falken Ziex ZE-512
Yokohama AVS ES100
BF-Goodrich g-Force Sport

I am on a budget so I didn't go high-end and all. I do drive aggressive but not street racing or anything close to that. I drive mostly in the city but 1/3 of the time on the highway to get to classes. I live in Florida so the temp will get into the high 90s (with very high humidity) in the summer and the occasional storms so I need good wet traction as well.
Thanks for any input.

I too am debating between those same exact tires...

The Kumho Ecsta SPT's are brand new from what i've heard.. just came out this year..
-rating: i've read reviews on spirited drivers, they said that they've autocrossed them and they're really good/great...

The Falken Ziex ZE-512 are really good too from what i've heard.. "almost" as sticky as the Azenis, but handle better in the rain.. from what i've heard..

The Yokohama ES100's are also really good.. not loud, pretty damn sticky, yet not as sticky as Falkens, from what i've heard.. also good in the rain..

The BF-Goodrich G-Force Sport are some tires i've never really read up on tho.. drag tires are they?? my friend with a turboed civic is riding on these, he says, he could launch at redline.. really really sticky from his reviews...

At the same time, these tires work best while heated (from what i've been told..) I'm still noob at this tire stuff too but i know a lil...

Hope this helps at least a lil bit...

Peace,
RJ

for the price, i have been happy with the couple of sets of kuhmo's i've had. right now, i'm on ecsta asx's. i also have the falken 512's on my wife's civic. also a decent tire for the money.

My 512's sucked donkey butt.

My new General Exclaims seem to be working out well.

I didn't like that in about 10,000 miles, I was down to the wear bars on 2 of them and quickly approaching the wear bars on the other 2. No burn outs, no skidding, some spirited driving (but come on!), lots of interstate miles. Unacceptable wear. When I got the piece of metal through the shoulder of one of them, instead of going "oh crap!", I went "YEAH! New tire time!"

Hmm. I'm at 10K with mine and have no such issues. Your problem may have been with alignment or tire pressure.

The wear was flat and level- alignment was set not long before the tires were installed. 35 psi all around (just the pressure for the MSP- and since I have MSP sized wheels and tires...........). Wear was not abnormal at all- just extremely quick. I'm far from a newbie when it comes to suspension and tires.
