I don't get people who bad mouth high performance tires in winter. I knew mine would suck in winter when i bought the car, which is why i have winter ones. They are supposed to suck in winter since they are made for high performance summer driving.

This is especially humorous because most sporty cars come with a less agressive performance tire that is more along the lines of an all-season tourer. Of course the magazines then b**** that those tires are no good. Mazda, on the other hand, decided to give us awesome performance tires that would make the magazines proud & here you are bitching about them in the snow.

The tires are unusable in snow. Doesn't make them bad tires. Call Bridgestone and ask them if you should be using them in snow- hold the phone away from your ear, because they'll be laughing loud. They'll make no bones about it. Don't use them in snow.

They're awesome on dry pavement- not too bad in rain.

As above, they could have put all season tires on it- and guess what- they'd still be pretty sucky in snow and you'd lose a bunch of dry grip.

In fact, there are snow tires on the market that handle as well as all seasons in the dry- they'd just wear too fast if you ran them all year.

Yea I hear ya buddy...try driving in Boston! Nothing like a MSP covered in ice. My car got a nice test in the snow and it does suck, but then the roads showed a little bare pavement and things were better...my snow tires are on the way!

I saw a oranage MSP at a body shop near the oxford valley mall, looks like it got it an accident. the whole front end and hood is off the car. Do you know this guy? I figured you probally seen him around, he has an injen sticker on his side window and a canister style exhaust...

STOCK Rims/Tires are not a good combo in the snow.. My stock wheel have never seen snow, get a cheap set of steelies and snow tires and you'll be golden in the snow.
