Hey guys, just bought some 3sdm 0.06 wheels 18x8.5. I need tires now, and i do not know much about them. What size tire will give off a nice low profile look and maybe a little stretch on these wheels?

Well... if u go18" rim it would be low profile already. Unless u stay17" and get wider rim something like 17 x 9" rim with original tire 215 45 17 .

for stretched you might just use original size?

something like 215 45 18 ?

that tire size will result in a taller tire than the stock setup and your speedometer will be off.

use this calculator to determine the correct size tire to buy.

Also, 215 is too narrow for a 8.5" rim. Go with a 225/40 or 235/35.

What is the offset of the 8.5 rim? That is pretty wide to fit on an MSP...

http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator stock offset is 55mm for comparison....from personal experience, 7" with 38mm offset rubs in the rear. I would say a 7" with 42mm offset would be the closest to the fender you can get without rubbing. For an 8.5" rim, that would result in a 60mm offset to not rub. That is with my fenders rolled at the stock ride height...so keep that in mind especially if you lowered the car....
