Tire Wear Problem

I have had my Ground Control Coil-overs for awhile now. When I got them installed, I had them align right away, which was probably not to smart, I should have waited for them to settle before the alignment. But anyways, now I have ruined a set of Parada Spec IIs because of this. Im now ordering new tires and was wondering if just a new alignment would fix the problem, or if i would need an camber kit. If I do need a kit, where could I get this from, and how much is it. Thanks for the help

What did the shop tell you that did the alignment in the first place??? You should go talk to them, show them your ruined tires.

I dropped it a lil less then two inchs, but I am sure that it has sunk down to two by now. I have not gone back to the shop yet, but tomorrow is my only day off work, and I am going to talk to them. Does anyone know where I can get a camber kit from, I need to find the cheapest place.

Oh yah, motegi. I was wondering how the intense performance club was. Some guy gave me his card, I think his name was Val or something like that and told me to check it out. It was in the FAU commons plaza, on Glades Rd. I was interested to check it out, but havnt had too much time, and plus I was waiting for some mods to come in the mail before I went so I wouldnt be all stock. Just wanted to hear what it was all about and what you guys/girls did. Thanks

lol. It's a lot of fun! The next meet is on the 25th of July at the towers off university. We hang out at the car show there for a while BS and then we leave and go out to eat or something and BS there too. A lot od BSing lol but its fun!

bad thing about camber kits is that they are expensive. But worth it if that is what you need. I'm not sure where you can get them. But I'm at work so I'll look around.

Just out of curiousity , did the shop who performed the work get you a printout of what they did??
Ill tell you why i ask. Whenever you need to adjust camber/caster for the front by unbolting the top of the strut, NO SHOP wants to do this. Well i shouldnt say the shop , i should say the tech.
They just check toe in and out and send you on your way. If you go back raise hell and they should pay for the tires . or compensate you for a portion of it. If properly aligned they should be close to spec. Because the factory adjustments do have some room.
Just my two cents.:D

well, i went to the shop, and i gave them s***, and they gave me s***, and nothing really came out of it, they said that they would give me some sort of a deal with the camber kit. I put some new tires on, the Kumho Supras 712's, which are pretty good. I'm not gonna go with the yokos anymore, their good tires, but their too soft for me. Hopefully i will get the kit put on sometime this week.

And I think I will stop by towershops on the 25th, i like to talk a lot of BS, so it sounds good to me. where do u meet in the parking lot. Do you have some corner picked out. Man, i wished i never moved, i use to live right behind that shopping center, now i live 40 minutes away. oh well.
