Tire imbalance?

I live in the NE and got a sh!t load of snow, and my car was just sitting in the lot getting covered...

When i went to drive it today, i had to rock it out (i didnt have a shovel) and when i got my car out it was fine... but when i got it about 40 mph, the whole car started to shake like hell.

its not the alignment, cos my steering wheel was still.

The peddels and the stick felt normal... just the whole car shook.

I thought it might be the snow getting caught in the wheel causing an imbalance, so i removed the snow that was embeded in the wheels and it seems alot better....

Just wondering if it was really just the snow stuck in the tire, or should i get it checked out seriously? (dunno)

Likely just the snow, just keep an eye on it (e.g. the speed at which you feel vibrations if there still are any vibrations), and if it's still there after the snow melts (so little over a month away) then take it in.

Also, I've moved to tire section

Agreed. If it persists, take your car to a power wash and hose out the wheels really good.

Pretty common in the snow for snow/ice/slush to build up. Things are also stiffer in the cold, so maybe a combination. Tires can also "flat-spot" to an extent and it is sometimes exagerated when it gets really cold.

Clean out your wheels, and drive enough to heat up the tires. That should cure it.

The same thing happend to me also when I had my MP3. Just make sure to keep the inside of your wheels clean and you should be fine.
