Tinting in AK

Sup my Anchorage peeps,

I'm in Fairbanks (bleh) and went over to get a quote on tinting the 5. I was blown away, first of all the AK law here is 70% in the front! WTF? and the ONLY place in town here that tints will not do anything less than legal.

I need your help to find a shop down by you that tints over legal limit. I'm looking to go 30% all the way around. Anyone got their car tinted here in the land of eternal sun?
I am willing to take the trip to Anchorage to get this done.

I was quoted at $275 !!! (wow) Man I can't wait to get back to the lower 48... damn.

I used to be in Anchorage and there are some shops that would tint your windows the way you want it. You just have to talk to them. And I think tint laws in Alaska is no tints on the fronts and around 40% around the rear windows and the back unless you got factory tints.

There is a place in town that does tinting for the P5 at around 170.00 any % you want. let me know if you need the name. What are you ridin in???

or you can go on ebay and look for pre cut window tint that should go for $55.00 (2thumbs) . I bought mine from them and it is the easy way to do it your self with the kit you can get at a shucks store, the only thing is i got 6% before i found out its a no-no (headshake here. You might have to find someone to do the back window though.
