tint loc.

Can anyone recommend a good tinting shop in the south bay/San Jose (CA.) area?
I'm taking a drive up to Sacramento this week. Any good shops up there? I would think there would be more compitition there, therefore better prices.
Also, any downsides (or upsides) to the usually more expensive semi-reflective or semi-smoked film?

Joe down at South Valley Auto Glass in San Jose does great work. Tell him that Jared with the Yellow Mazdaspeed sent you in and he should cut you a pretty good price.

You should definately go over the hill for your tint job. I got mine done here, and it cost 300 bucks!!

I am super lazy and haven't taken any pictures of my car yet, but some others have, actually look here, this is my old protege5, Joe did the tint on this too:

It's madico 5% in the rears and 70% in the fronts (legal limit)

On my Mazdaspeed I have Suntek (I think) 5% rears and 35% fronts.

Natey and the other HWY 9 guys have seen the tint job on both of my cars and can attest to the fine work Joe does. Are you into the local scene at all, do you know Olympic Year? If you do Josh from Olympic Year has the same tint on his WRX if you have ever seen it.

I don't play anything, I am a tech. I do recordings and live sound. I don't really have any musical talent but music has been a big part of my life for a long time and I think of the sound board as my musical instrument, you can do it very well and very badly.

I might have to come by and see you PM me with your name and when I would have to get there by to catch you. We might be buying a bunch of stuff for my church in the near future and we need all the help we can get.
