Tint Law for GA

lol
its going through congress, you think that they'll hurry on this?

Nah, Anyone see a draft of the actual bill they are voting on yet?
I'd like to 100% know the technical b.s. , I guess I could search for it...bah I'm too lazy

wow...I got owned and didn't even realize it...I've seen this before just forgot lol

I've got like 20% and I don't really care, cop pulls me over I'll just roll all 4 of my windows down :)

It doesn't say the percentage it'll take them another 5 years to discuss that one out, I say by then we'll all find a way to get around it

you can get as low as 29% because the law says 32% +- 3 %

I realised but thanks :). I just want an idea of what the "worst case" scenario would look like (ie. 32%). Additionally, if I don't mind the 32% I'd go with it - just because cops aren't always the nicest people and I can't bother with the hassle of telling him about my knowledge of the law etc. (he might still write the ticket then I'd have to [or a lawyer] prove my case in court). But if 32% is indeed not simply dark enough, I may just get 29% and plan on a possible court appearance :)

So.....any pics of 32% anyone?

well i do not have any pictures of it look at a stock scion XB (best one to look for), TC or toyota 4runner and any other toyota with factory tint they are all done in 32% to conform with southeast regional tint laws. Some do have aftermarket tint but if you look closely they have stickers on every window saying it has 32% on it.

Know what you mean when it comes to cops. On numerous occasions in my old car I had cops tell me mine was too dark. And I'd sit there and say no its not. Its within the legal limit and they still argue, even after I showed them that it was professionally done at a well known shop. Then another time I had a lady cop tell me my REAR Window was too dark and I said "Mam, there is not legal limit to the rear window in this state. Plus mine is not as dark as it could be." She looked at me confused.. went to her car... got on the walkie talkie... came back.. and said "ok, have a nice day." Stupid cops.
