Timing belt change, how often?

does anyone know the torque in which we have to tighten the camshaft shims... i dont have a torque wrench,well not yet, but can i just tighten them by hand?

I could (i'm also a jet mechanic) because i have a lot of experience with a torque wrench to 'calibrate me'. If you don't have that experience - go borrow or buy a torque wrench in theporoper range for the task.

It is important for those engine assembly tasks. Not all tasks - but a lot of them.

Too tight can do just as much damage as too loose.
