I've noticed that on hotter days my shifts seem to be really jerky (the car hops) but it doesnt feel like the clutch is slipping. It gets so bad that I have to turn the AC off and drive with the windows down because with it on the car jerks like a mofo. On colder days it seems ok, when its too cold I get the clutch chatter but Mazda didnt want to fix that for me. Also, the day after I raced another car (and stupidly burned up my clutch in the process) My shifts were perfect for a while until it went back to the way it was.
I basically learned how to drive stick in this car so I know it took some abuse the first few months.. and I also taught a few people how to drive stick in this car.
Can this problem be contributed to a worn clutch? Or would motor mounts be a better solution? I really dont want to spend a ton of money on this car because I just saved a good chunk for my dream car and it looks like I will be needing new rotors as it is.
