Tiiiiinnnnnttttt

Not sure of the percentage, but I would recommend going with the 3M material instead of the llumar tint, I had that on all of my cars and have noting but good things to say about it. No fading at all by the way!

well.....thanks for all the info! I think what I am gonna go for is 35%.....because of the cops around here. With the inspection part of it, my car will be inspected once per year......however, the mechanics cannot fail your car because of tint alone(they re-wrote the rule)...so all i have to worry about is actually getting pulled over and bitched at.....(hopefully, if that were to happen i would be all dolled up! haha)

and the cost for this is $120 out the door....for any percentage and all windows....plus he comes to where ever you are located to do it......and all the products he uses is gauranteed work (blah blah blah) we've used him several times at the dealership, and around here i can't find anyone better :)

thanks for the pics and comments on this.....

pro5x....hbg is definetly harrisburg pa....where abouts are you gonna be?

Im thinking 5% on the back 2 windows and the hatch. Here in illinois you cant have tint on the front 2 windows which I think is really stupid. My buddies mom got pulled over in the yukon they had with tint that came with the car from the factory and got a ticket. So they are nazi's about that around here.

I paid 150$ for 5% in the rears and the visor and 30% front 2 windows, also got a memorial sticker put on rear.

looking for insight on the sunstrip on the windshield, that area behind the mirror, is where the rain sensor is, correct? (GT model) would tint interfere with that at all? I wouldnt assume there is a problem, but the bigger concern is that the tint might not stick to that area as well. if anyone can tell me their experience with that id appreciate it.

as for %, i wouldnt go below 20%, Im thinking either 20 or 35 for my car if I ever do get it tinted

Im thinking 35% wont be all that bad. Here in MD the limit is 35, but most people get away with 30. I heard that some people had problems with tinting the rear window because of the defrosters, anyone got anything on that? Curious to know if thats bs or not.

No, that is not completely bs, it does take longer but after it is on a while it is fine. The problem is with the lines being raised, it just takes longer for the tint to mold completely to each line. Turning on your defroster helps speed this up.
