I meant to post this ages ago, but I'm just getting the pics back now. We had some work done on our house, and some guy came buy and took some pics of it when it's done. Anyhow, the car was parked in front, and he took some pics of it as well because he loved it. But, the pics aren't very good at all. I don't have a digi cam so these are really my only pics of the mp3 yet. When I do some more work on her the spring I'll get some more pics.
The only reason why I'm posting this is really to 1. Prove I actually own one. 2. Someone was asking about bra's and deflectors.
I HATE bras.....on cars and women . I've had bras on several cars over the years, and they only rub the paint, are a PAIN in the ass to take off/on. And most people leave them on during rain/snow and sand gets underneath them and scratches the paint as the bra shifts around while the car is on motion. Not to mention fade the paint uneven. I only used to put mine on my cars when travelling on the highway a lot, but over time, even they will scratch the paint.
The last 2 cars, I've used the common deflector [see pics] They don't touch the paint at all, never fade the car wrong at all and protect the hood/window fine.
I live in an area where they use excessive sand in the winter instead of salt. Most of the damage is usually above the headlights, on the hood, and windshield area. A bra will cover the lower bumper better then a deflector, but I've yet to see any damage to my bumper over the years anyhow. So, a deflector has suited my needs better.
Only a few drawbacks with a deflector though. Some mount badly, sitting on the paint, get one that rests above the hood. Some touchless carwashes have powerful dryer thingies that can blow the deflectors off. Some deflectors have a large lip on the top, these can deflect rocks right on your windshield, making little specks after time, this is rare, but has happened to some cheaper ones I've seen on friends cars, and my old civic as well.
Anyhow, these things are cheap, like 90.00 canadian. They take all of 10 mins to install even for a monkey. You can take them off even easier.

Don't laugh at my pics! They aren't my work.
