Throwing a shout out - new to the community

Hey peepz large and small,
So i absolutely LOVE the mazdaspeed 3...YET!...I don't have one

I am in the process of looking, I am trying to see what all out there in terms of mods. I love mod'ing my vechiles, i currently drive a Dodge Neon SRT-4 - stage 2 turbo, CAI, chip, exhuast, BOV. pushes roughly 300 hp to the wheel.

I hope to trade it so i can start playing with the speed3.

My first question is what is the max HP gain they have seen out of there speed 3.

depends how deep your wallet is. you can match your SRT-4's hp. lots of threads on what people have already done. test drive one. you will be able to "force" yourself to drive it stock for awhile.

The best car i have ever owned period.. Oak tree mazda is a great place guys. i got the sport pkg for 21,700+tax.. Very nice people.

First thing i notice was the steering feel and the brakes. Omg.. This car handles like nothing i have driven. Freaking calipers are HUGE. My 2006 wrx sucked. Loose steering, bad brakes and they were 4 pot calipers. Handeling was junk. Why the **** i payed 25k for wrx and had to spend another 4k for sways bars, springs, TBE and AP and other bs that never ******* helped the car in any way. Well stg2 was very good. even at stg 2, the wrx was slower than a stock ms3.. The quality you get in mazda is just breath taking. 6 speed, tcs, vsc, mechanical LSD.. I could go on and on. the wrx.was slow and never handled like stock ms3..AWD is very good, But i dont live in tahoe or where it snows. But the new 2008 sti is so sexy.. It better be for $37k. I will post some pics later.. I got the black..

I dont think you will get a MS3 up too SRT4s stage 4 package but the MS3 is a better car.Those SRT4 stage 4s are fast but you still and crank the back windows down from the drivers seat..

I raced 3 SRT4s at the strip last weekend but they were only stage 2s....Yes I won.

I love the look of them, plus I am looking for a more "family oriented" vechile, with the MS3 i have A LOT more room than the SRT-4, i love those viper seats

Huge aftermarket for the SRT4. Not so much for the Mazda.

Pros and cons to both cars. Honestly, I don't know that I'd spend the dosh on something as similar. you'll end up spending a lot of money to arrive exactly where you are right now, albeit with a slightly nicer interior and better fit and finish overall.

So the srt4 is better then the wrx..? not the last time i've driven both of them...
