Thinking of turbocharging your P5? Here's a guide for getting started...

im joining this group as of thursday. started piecing together my kit. got the turbo, manifold, spipe, jpipe, hotpipe, msp ecu on the way.
 
Man! I had no idea that I had not posted on this at all..... probably read over it 5 times before deciding to turbo. I'm just waiting for another vehicle to be able to garage mine over the winter for the install....
 
Nice...I picked up all my gaskets earlier today...now just waiting to get the car out of the shop...having a lot of problems...need to fix those before I do anything else...
 
ordered all the oil and water lines/fittings/couplers etc today from the list.

just need to get fmic setup, blowoff valve and msp ecu and i will be set to go!

Wow! you almost there.....I just boosted mine 3 weeks ago....have fun with the build....
 
actually just purchased the exhaust manifold gasket, mishimoto FMIC, the cxracing intercooler pipes, blowoff valve pipe and blowoff valve just now too.

now all i need is to send one of my ecus to spicy to have him flash it to msp specs and i will be set :D
 
dam, everybody is getting the mishimoto fmic now lol
and just an fyi, if you plan on running more boost then stock, your going to need a SSAFC, the hesitation is ridiculous without it
 
So...just saying, but if anyone is looking for any Turbo parts for the P5 I have practically everything and it will be up FS in a few days...REALLY nice parts to...
 
Bought a Civic two days ago, so with it now being an official project car, it is going to be a better decision to do it this way and get this loan paid off with the money...
 
Ive almost got everything I need for the turbo kit, just waiting on hks ssqv bov, vacuum lines, msp ecu to show up in the mail this week.

Lol...maybe I will sell them, maybe not, but right now it is a HUGE possibility...may sell some other things first, but I am pretty sure they are coming...
 
manifold, turbo, spipe, jpipe are all in. working on the i/c piping now. i also need slim fans, about to run to checkers to see if they have any.

EDIT: Slim fans found at Checkers Auto Parts. Got two installed, pushing direction. Intercooler is installed. Still working on the i/c piping.
