Thinking about getting another MS6 as my daily driver. I had a new 2007 GT & turned it in back in 2010 (lease end).
Loved driving the car even thought it was still slow after TXS BOV, ETS FMIC, Cp-E straight through single exit cat-back & AEM CAi. The 3rd gear stutter & hardly ever being able to get perfect shifts thanks to that lovely clutch didn't even make me wanna get rid of it & I usually change cars very often.
Anyway, I turned mine in with 47k miles & a wheel bearing was starting to go & it started to stutter in other gears. Is this normal for that mileage?
I would like to get one with under 60k miles, but the high mileage ones I see for sale are pretty cheap. Anyone here have any with high miles? What has broken/malfunctioned? What maintenance have you done?
I never got around to getting the Cobb AP for mine. What do they usually run w/such a tune?
Has a fix for the 3rd gear stutter and/or the lovely clutch ever come along? How long do the turbos last in these cars?
What else should I know?
