TheZeb.com versus Cardomain.com

Both sell Pioneer and TheZeb.com has it cheaper (however cardomain will match up to 105% so I am waiting to see what they offer). The problem with cardomain.com is that I had ordered a couple of times in the past and NEVER received any thing. I checked the order status and it never shipped. i ended up cancelling both times and ordering through Crutchfield (who BTW will not even match competitor's prices and sell the unit for $100 more than TheZeb.com)!

Has any one ordered from either one of these companies? If so some insights would be greatly appreciated!

I've ordered from theZeb without any problems before. I think that they are an authorized vendor for most of the stuff that they sell...definitely for the CDTs that I bought. It's not too bad a place in my expereience.

As for cardomain, they're a big name and a big site, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't have sent you your stuff. Did you email them about it and get any answers before? Either way, you'll probably be cool with both, but just make sure to check on theZeb's return and warranty policies to be 100% before buying, seen?

I ordered from theZeb also and had a good experience. Shipping was a lot faster than I expected too.

Too bad TheZeb doesn't include a free dash kit. I already have one in my car, but the cage of the Alpine is bent a bit making the plastic dashkit warped very little. Nevertheless, they are significantly cheaper so even if I purchased one, it would come out to be cheaper.

I am getting a Pioneer DEHP7600MP and found it for $199.95 on www.thezeb.com and it is $239 at sounddomain, but sounddomain offers a free install kit and wire harness. I sent them the URL for thezeb and their total came out to be $204.95 because of their match up to 105% (5% more than thezeb), but the wire harness and dash kit is not free, WTF? The total comes out to be several dollars cheaper than if I bought the unit at the sounddomain price. I emailed them to see what gives. I have a dash kit, but the sleeve from the alpine was bent causing the dash kit to be slightly warped (barely noticeable) and with a new wire harness, I could easily stick the old head unit in if I trade or sell the car down the road. Otherwise, I would stick with just purchasing the head unit. I'll keep you posted as to what happens, but if SoundDomain doesn't include them for free, then **** them and I am going with thezeb.com. (yupnope)

I emailed sounddomain about why I am excluded for a free dashkit and wire harness which comes with a purchase of any headunit from them. This is the letter:

This is the kind of response I get from them just today:

Greetings from CarDomain.com -

Thanks for writing to us with your question. As it states in our
price match policy, promotions cannot be combined. This applies to
the free install kit and harness because it is a promotion, as well
as the 105% price match is another promotion. We apologize for any
inconvenience caused by the delay and appreciate your patience and
understanding in the matter.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks for your
interest in CarDomain.com - we look forward to serving you.

NEED I SAY MORE? CARDOMAIN OR SOUNDDOMAIN SUCKS! What kind of customer service is that? In the end, if I ordered the unit for $239 versus getting the unit at $204, but paying for the kit and harness, it comes out to be $227 I WHOPPING savings of $12 Big ******' Deal!!!(nana) I had ordered twice from them in the past and had to cancel as it never shipped (even after 2 weeks) because they were moving their stuff to a larger warehouse, WTF?! (chair) (jerkit) (braindead (screwy)

I tried theZeb before and the product I bought was shipped right away. Had no problems at all.

I plan on getting my head unit from them do to problems with Sound Domain. I was going to get a used one at another site, but after PMing the guy and sending him an email, I have yet to hear from him. He hasn't read the PM and hasn't replied to the personal email. It was an Eclipse 8443 I think. Used, but a nice head unit.
