I did a search and haven't found to much.

i have the chance to pick this kit up for a good price ans wanted some feedback.

Has anyone installed these and what are their opinions?

Seems like a good mod for efficiency.

Thanks in advance.

Where did you see these products? I would like to read about them. Maybe then I can give you some input.

What does the throttle body spacer do? I already bought (well in the process of payment) the spacer for the intake manifold. How much does this TB spacer cost?

"Phenolic" seems to be the search word.

There is a lot here to read, so i'll get back to you all.

Most likely though Im going to get them.

I tried to install them but after many hours I had to get the car back together again.

All I can say is that the space to work on the intake manifold and throttle body is real tight.

I might give it another go.

Some people have successfully installed these on the P5.

GET THEM

I used to have one of his original sets on my old MX-6 and they worked incredibly well. They don't add any power but they do let you keep what power you have longer. After install one of my old car club members and I took our car out to the drag strip and I was able to keep much more consistant tiimes run after run while you could see his time continually dropping from heat soak to the engine.
And for those that think it's tight getting them on a Protege engine try fitting them on a V-6 that requires you to remove the intake manifold for almost half of the enigne work you want to do.

Seems like a decent product. I read the gains for some of the cars. Seemed to be an average or 4-6hp and 5-7fpt. Not bad for basically a gasket. Anyone know the pricing? For some reason I can't get to where it shows the pricing. Gotta be my works PC.

Mine were $100 when I bought them about 6 months ago.

is there anyway to tell what cars they will work on and ones they wont besides putting them on? they may have helped your freinds RSX but just not enough to feel. I wish I had a dyno in my garage that way if it did in fact do nothing I could prove it and send it back

I actually installed one of these Airaid throttle spacer in my wifes Xterra and it absolutely did nothing other than a cool whining noise at wot. I guess it works just like the "Tornado" stuff.

I think TB spacers only help bottom end, my freind installed a spacer and it whistles to, kinda funny IMO

I wish I had a dyno to, I would dyno a friend car before I did my own that way I know wheter to spend my money. :)
