The test Drive

They are really picky at the damn delaer im 18 years old and im buying the car cash and they wont let m,e test drive with out my parents what bulls*** im the one writting the check but they took down off the lift thing and i drove it around the parking lot for a little and all could think about was how sqeaky the back end was so i got out and pulled on the spoiler and pushed the truck and i could figure it out then i pushed down on the suspension and there it was that noise what is up with it and how do i get rid of it

welcome to the board. were just getin alot of new mp3 owners today. and congrates too. u have a VERY rare car lol. the noise everyone has its called the "clunk" but ur sqeeking is the same thing mostly. they both have to do with the rear sway bar bushing. search on the clunk and you will see wat i mean.

it'll cost only $30 to fix that noise. All you have to do is go to a mazda dealership and get new bushings for the rear sway bar.

Listen to everything these guys tell you. You will not have one problem any of these guys have not had yet, they have a cure for everything.

Especially that "clunk," when I picked up mine from Cali and drove it back to Denver, I could have sworn something was falling off the rear end. That noise was so f'ing annoying. But like they have told you, spend the $30, get new bushings, lube them up good and put them on. Your done in about 30 minutes and that clunk is gone.

If you are unsure about anything on that car you're looking at, make sure you ask these guys on this board, they can answer anything.

Yea afetr i got back from the test drive i told them it was really annoying nd i told them to check the suspension and strut bar and if it isnt fixed when i pick it up then i will make them do it there im under warrenty...but you guys have been very nice and helpfull thanks alot i just got Mazda never had on befor i had a 99 eclipse and some old guy crashed into me so it was totaled so i thought i would go with something new and this car seems like alot of fun and fun to mod so i will be posting alot of qustions and stuff and trying to help out
