the Stance Thread v2.0

Same width? You can, this also depends on what your definition of cheap is. I'm just saying you can find a lot of cool, good quality/shape used "real" wheels for about the same, give or take, as reps.

I also understand that the higher end/multi-piece wheels are going to be more $ but when you look at it $700-800 is a lot for reps when for a bit more you could have some quality wheels.

Ya it's just hard to get real wheels that are ten or plus whose for under a grand lol. That's what I was saying

I've been looking at wheels for almost a year and I've found BBS LM's that are 17x9.5 for $1800 shipped. It's just taking the time to look for them. Just the other day I missed out on a local set of Work CR Kai 17x9 +38 for $800. I was pretty pissed about missing that one.

If you can afford getting a set of new XXR's then you can afford to get a set of used quality wheels. It just takes time and a little luck to find exactly what you want in the price range you're looking at.

Ya I wish I bought real wheels at first but it's easyer to replay fake wheels then a 3 peace wheel some times it really depends on the wheels u buy

I'll probably either buy xxr or a beater car for this winter season. I'd rather have a beater car for the price of xxrs and tires though.

Even if its 1500, that's still a damn good price. I see people paying 1200+ for Linea Corse or Rotas LOL

I see this soo much, people pay good money for rotas and I don't understand why(uhm). I totally agree with circuit here. And for the people who claim being a student means you can't buy quality that is just an excuse, I'm a student now , been a student forever, and I still found a set of legit wheels for less then one of friends bought his rotas for. You just have to save up and be patient. I saved up forever to get my wheels.Like rar40941 said not everyone needs real wheels, if you wanna rock fake wheels its all good, just don't pass them off as the real thing

^Nice.

The reason I have my daily SSR's in the rear is that on the way from the hotel to the event, one of my rear tires debeaded. Luckily, Reg and his friends were following us and had a spare and a jack with them. They graciously let me borrow their stuff and I swapped my rear wheels back at the hotel. I then went on to win Best Protege :)
