so +13 would be the same poke on a 9 as my 8 +0lax22pearl:5953353 said:16x8 +0 would be the equivalent of 16x9 +25 correct? Or would it be +13 cause if its +25 then +32-+37 would be perfect for a p5 with roll and camber
+13
im wondering what tires i will need to fit some 17x8.25 rims....want a mild stretch as ill be on coils with these rims thanks
205/40/17 Falkens
Best side profile I have without taking more: 17x8 with a 205/40r17 (8.58" width) Nitto Neogens. I know its not a 8.25" but its close. This is a common wheel/tire setup, there will be others. Beauty of it is that its not really stretch! 8" is still within Nitto's safe mounting widths, 8.25" ain't though
So what should I go with to keep an 8.25" size rim safe on mounting specs?
Nothing if you want to stretch LOL.
Different tires stretch differently. Here are 205/40/17 Falken 912's on an 8"
Sorry for being a pain but I just checked on willtheydfit.com about the rims I want... And it looks like its going to hit the strut, correct me if I'm wrong, here's the link... http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=45&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7&offset=%2B40&width2=205&aspect2=40&diameter2=17&wheelwidth2=8.25&offset2=%2B35&Submit=Submit
Thanks for the bill of confidence my friend its a work in progress, doing body work and painting it this summer/fallbthai:5954413 said:Ineedmoarlow, i knew you were gonna murder a beautiful car. great job there!
You will be fine. Stock MSP wheels are 17x7 +55 so the 17x8.25 +35 give you 4mm more inside clearance.
yup you should be ok man, it sounds like you dont want to stretch much so im assuming your not going to go as low as possible either. you will need a fender roll though.
