the Stance Thread v2.0

Ran into a bit of a snag with my wheel rebuild and they ordered 17x9 barrels instead of 17x8.5. Pretty much decided to do it but need to pick the offset. Rear doesn't matter as much since I will be getting the AAC link kit, but I need to think about the front.

Anyone think I will have issues hitting the strut with +30? Rear will be -2 or 3* camber.

Like I said on FB, Everything will be gravy :D

What kinda lip size are we talking now that your going 9s?

Headlight armor FTW :)

17 x9 + 30 will be AWESOME circuit! depending on how low you wanna go the only thing you should worry about is tire size. ahhhh damn thats gonna look so gooood.

I have 215/40's that will be going on them for the show, but if/when I want to go lower in the future, will probably go back to 205/40's. Or if I boost then 235/35's lol.

AAC link kit should be shipping out today.

what is the best tire to run in your guys opinion?? i'm gonna be runnin 17x9 +25 with prob a 205/40. but i can't decide what tire to go wit. i'm leaning towards g-force kdw..

i want a tire that streches good and not have to worry bout cracked/worn walls as this is my daily driver.. and i hear the kdw are some good s***. my main thing is i don't want to have to buy a new set every 6months

Wear on the sidewalls = rubbing = not a property of the tire
wear out in 6 months = alignment

Stretches well and lasts a long time = Falken Ziex 912. High treadwear rating and stretches really nice

The kdw's are ******* amazing, but with the soft compound camber ware would be more evident faster. I'd say go with Yokohama S-drives. Good amount grip and they'll last you a year before you'll need to flip them
