The Slammed Life

Federal ss595 is a good tire if they make them in the size you need. I like mine a lot.

The 595 is what I tried to get lol but the company I went through ran me through hoops then told me they were out and refunded me...

Ok guys I got a dilemma...my front passenger tire is 100% bald...and I got screwed over by a tire company giving me the run around for about three Weeks and now I'm in desperate need for a tire and money is super tight..Ebay had the best prices and that's where I'm looking discount tire had falken 912's for 83... Now that I finally got a refund they are sold out they now have kumho ecsta's for 83 would it be worth it for that price the next tire up is like 97 and its a neo gen which I heard run fat and aren't good for stretching... Any opinions?

dude your not even stretching that much, dont worry about which stretches better, just get a solid tire and get your alignment right. i would buy the cheapest you can if its a priority.

But if you buy a different tire than what you have on the rest of your wheels, just be careful when you put the wheel back on the car, some tire sizes run a little wider and taller than others.

Matching tire brands and sizes and is essential on the drive wheels. Diff life will be cut down significantly.

Ya when I replace the other tire next month I'm getting whatever I get for this first one. And honestly I want to get 195/40/16 s-drives but would that mess things up quite a bit running that for a month with the low tread 205/40/16 on the other side?

quick pic that someone took of my 8 at a local meet.

Put those odd two on the rear and move the rears to the front. Problem solved.

s*** dude... Your wheels cost more than most of the cars in here.

Now can I play with you guys now?

20x11 Work Gnosis GS-2, 1.75 inches subframe to ground, 2.5 pinch weld to ground

Very nice, love the new wheels. Seen this in person and it is very low. When it got stuck on the alignment lift I was a little worried, glad we had those wooden boards around.

Hey everyone I have a 2002 protege and am working on getting low. (saving up)

Been looking at a couple different things. Ebay coil over sleeves, GC's, and just found out about the Skunk2 sleeves, heard they go low.

Don't have a huge budget just wanting to get as low as possible with my budget.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You'll be disappointed in Ground Controls, You'll hate yourself if you buy Skunk2s and you will break something on eBay Coils. Sorry. That's just how it goes, coils or nothing

Agreed even the 400 gc's won't ride nearly as nice as coils nor will they be able to go as low. Save up and do it right once instead of twice
