The Slammed Life

I installed the front coilovers today and with all the collars in and the strut fully shortened I ended up a half inch lower in front than i was before. I can't fit my low profile jack under the frame rail anymore.

I can get another inch out of them by removing collars but I want to get my wheels mounted first.

For those who think im not low enuff

you know pot holes, speed bumps and objects in the road can all be avoided. I think thats just a case of doing it wrong. No ones pan should look like that unless your a completely oblivious. Ive been driving lower and just as low as you for 2 years, my pan doesn't look half that bad.

No one thinks youre not low enough. And that's bad, you are losing oil capacity.

I do avoid pot wholes my pan is almost a half inch of the ground for some reason I donno if it is because the bc are broken in ? My control arm are about half inch I'ma put my collar back on it scares me I didn't notice till I got it on the lift I was like holly **** ..

I have a tie bar underneath my car that not only stiffens up the car a bit but protects the oil pan for the most part. Though it stops the car 2" above the tarmac.

It's cause there steel and have elastic properties which allow them to bend and not break or crack. Now if we had aluminium pans, his would of exploded within a week of driving.
