I was actually 3/10ths slower than my personal best (13.08). The old man needs to work on his reaction and 60'.

I ran my first autocross on Aug 22 since October of last year. Didn't take long to shake out the cobwebs!

Well the inevitable finally happened. 3rd gear let go during a SOLO I event on Saturday. I was still able to drive the car the 160 km back home afterwards though.

Picked up a used cylinder head and pulled the cams tonight. They're off to Megacycle Cams tomorrow for a little "refreshing". (Integral Cams has passed the torch to Megacycle and my cams will be getting the Stage 3 treatment.)
Supertech will be providing the valve goodies and Unlimited Automotive will look after the cleanup, p n p and final assembly of the head.
As far as the tranny goes, PAR 3rd and 4th are forthcoming.

Cams are shipping back to me tomorrow. Supertech valvetrain parts are ordered.
It's coming together.

Ordered the Supertech stuff from Autodream out of Calgary Alberta. Had everything within a week. Got the PAR stuff from a guy off the Toronto Protege forums. Ya, the car is going to be a handful lol.

Dropped by the machine shop today. The head has been cleaned and is ready for a little pnp.
