The Progression of my V.1 Street Sleeper Turbo build

dude.. holy s***. although i've posted in here before. i just got finished reading everything. i'm sorry i offered you my turbo kit before lol i did'nt even know wha you had going on. your car looks great, and you've taken time to do it right.

what happened w/ the weeping AWR oil pan?
didn't you already have a set of injectors before? what happened to them?

love the fds..

The AWR pan still weeps but minimally. I sold the the NSN 550's to CrazyCaker. Wasn't happy with the way they married up to the fuel rail.

I drove the car around the neighborhood with the race tires on and I'm getting some rubbing on bumps somewhere in the rear. I still have to determine where. If it's just the fender liner it's okay, otherwise I may have to adjust the ride height.

Wow that looks great! I really like how that wheel and tire combo fits... perhaps I'll have to do that when I kill my 15" 710s :D

Found the contact point. Rear drivers side fender liner.

Three plastic rivets and out it comes.

Removing it exposes my fuel filler pipe but since it is so easy to remove, I'll just pop it off at the track when I change my tires. I haven't taken it for another drive yet with it off (started raining) but I hope this is the only place it's rubbing. I could not see any other visible evidence in the wheel well so... *fingers crossed* ;)

Well some more test drives found more rubbing so the rear fenders are rolled, pulled, hammered and ground and tomorrow it goes out on the auto-x course for the first time since '07. Woot!!! I can hardly wait! :D

What do you get when you mix some rain, new R-comps, new suspension, new power and a driver who hasn't clipped an apex at an auto-x event in about 18 months?

Plenty of spins and grins!!! :)

Video (thanks to Valk) of the shenanigans will follow, but probably not until later tomorrow. I'm beat and all I'm doing tonight is eating pizza, drinking copious amounts of beer and watching hockey. :D

Custom 3" downpipe is complete! It's a sweet looking piece. To the untrained eye it may look somewhat unconventional since it was made to adapt to the Version 1 MAM Street Sleeper kit. I have pics in my camera but I forgot to bring the USB cord to plug it into my laptop and I'm sitting in a hotel room right now in Victoria. Racing tomorrow, with my tuner co-driving so it should be another productive day! :D
I'll get the pics up when I get home.

Ran out of time and couldn't get a dyno for measured gains but from actually driving I have to think it is significant. We'll get it on the rollers again soon. :D
