The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Haha I have three sets as of now, gold Konig (dd) drags with slicks (track for sale) and new rpf1's that I want to put track tires on. The Konigs still have the all season tires on them but won't for long.

And yes I haven't heard from you so I thought I may have pissed you off sometime #1, wouldn't be the first time I've done that so I wasn't sure.

What's all this talk of fast food workers striking for $15 minimum wage? That's horseshit. If it happens, I'll quit my job and take a small pay cut to mindlessly flip burgers while I finish up school.

Not sure yet on tires hoping Marlon can find me some more slicks. I was pretty hard on my last set.

If they want to get $15/hour, thye need to get a job that pays $15/hour. All that would happen is inflation would be driven up and $15/hour "wouldn't be enough to live on".

In the words of comedian Roy Wood Jr. "America needs failures, someone has to serve you chicken nuggets at 1 in the morning"

Edit:
Oh, and I had this issue with my car not starting the past few days. Did this, and all is well

I had a feeling that was your issue Sho. Did you take the wire off and clean the corrosion and use to dielectric grease?

I sure did. There was actually a tear in the wire from that bracket that sits on the left side of the intake mani. Removed the bracket, fixed the wire and used some, Heat shrink, cleaned and greased, and tossed that bracket in the trash.

And unless there's some fine print, that's under warranty.

Awesome!

FF jobs aren't meant to be permanent other than maybe management/ownership etc. positions. They're for the college kid to have extra money or the high school kid. Not the lazy 27 year old. Most of the factory jobs around here don't pay 15/hr. It's annoying that this generation I come from wants everything for free or millions to flip burgers. Earn your money.

couldn't have said it better myself

heck, $15 to flip burgers...where do I sign up? That's over $30k/yr. There have been quite a few days I'd take that...

+1 to everything everyone's said about this whole fast food thing. I don't understand why the store managers just don't fire everyone who goes on strike a la Reagan and the air traffic controllers. However, unlike air traffic controllers flipping burgers is an unskilled position; it can be filled in less than a week by a high school kid.

To the Focus ST comment: if they release something similar for the Fiesta ST I'm going to have a very hard time avoiding that temptation! I still need to sell the 2!

Morning everyone. A Sonic blue pearl mazda6 just went up for sale down the street from me. I love that color and I may stop an look at it.

I don't see how an intake, catback and tune net 48hp and 90tq on a k03

It took a gt2867 to get the focus ST to 325whp/350tq
