The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

The bolt holding the arm onto the motor probably came loose. That's happened to me once or twice.

So it might not be catastrophic. Thats a good thing.

edit: crisis overted. the nut had backed off. i took the nut off so i could see whats up and there are a few teeth left inside the arm, next time i may not be so lucky. i will have to start checking with junkyards for another wiper arm and an abs wire.

So... That sinkhole in FL is ridiculous. Apparently that's common? I don't think I'd want to live there.

Well that was an interesting read.

I almost bought their rear mount for the 2. Looked solid.

The TCSportline control arms I bought for the Miata failed just like the SURE camber arms, FYI. Hit chassis, stressed the bolt, broke bolt, gave me infinite camberz. Thankfully I was going about 30mph instead of 90.

So that's not frightening.

Eh, SURE has been promising a CAI for the 1st gen 6 that doesn't throw a lean code (even the Mazdaspeed CAI throws a lean code eventually). Their motor mounts are a joke (i'm AWR all the way) and their prices aren't great for anything. This just confirms its not a place to ever look at again.

I think if you drove the car at a normal height it would never be an issue.

The problem is, they were marketed to people that were low because they allowed camber adjustment, lol.
