Levi, LOVE the winter wheels!!! It's nice having a black car because pretty much anything/any color goes with it. I'd love to do something different with my winter steelies, but with a burnt orange car, i'm kind of limited ... any thoughts?

Yep. And I did have two flats just the other day. Just bought new tires, but have to make an appointment.

They've got snows on them I need to get taken off and put on the smart

go crazy with it, it's winter and the goofier the wheel combo the more chances it will brighten your day during the gloomy winter haha.... at least that's my theory haha


i remember when fatti had some chevy orange steelies to go on his spicy MSP before it went boom over thanksgiving hahaha

what exactly made you want to get it and not keep the Speed3?

The gigantic rear wing...

But seriously, I've always wanted one. I don't think there is a better car out there (except the Evo maybe) that mixes practicality and performance. I don't have a really good or practical reason. The Speed3 has been awesome and it has no problems at all, so it has nothing to do with that.

Fair enough, I was asking cuz I've been doing some thinking since I've been driving all these different cars. I love the MSM, but I've been doing and have plans to mod it for a better track experience, which as much fun as it would be sometimes doesn't make a lot of sense. At those tiems, it makes more sense to have something like an Atom or a Caterham.

So, I've thought about selling the MSM, paying s*** off and getting one of those, but they're a b**** to drive in the rain. Just another of my crazy ideas...

I dunno... I was adding up all the money I want to put into it which you can't really get back, but I've already got other things that are miata specific...

I haven't driven it since I got the truck, so driving all these BMWs and Benzs and Audis that feel soooooooooo good...

bottom line, I confuse myself pretty easy (crazy)

I would not hesitate to live in my car if I had to. It wouldn't be a situation I would bring upon myself, but I would not hesitate to do it. first thing I do on a test drive is fold down the back seats and make sure I can lay comfortable in the trunk/hatch

for 125k, id rather have an new Ariel Atom, a new Dodge Ram 2500 diesel and a new enclosed trailer to haul it with... oh and id still have 10+k cash to spare haha jus' sayin

Fair enough! I'm not as confused because I never want or have any desire to get rid of the Miata so it's easy to put more stuff on it. I'm surprisingly close to the end of my wish-list for that car anyways.

My problem is going to be how to convince myself not to take the STi to the track all the time instead of the Miata.
